An award-winning Syrian filmmaker, digital content creator, and video producer, born on February 9, 1997, in Homs, Syria. He graduated with honors from the Lebanese International University (LIU), holding a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts – Radio and Television.
Displaced by the war in Syria, Anwar relocated to Lebanon, where he initially studied accounting while working as a freelance photographer and graphic designer. His creative drive eventually led him to channel his talents into cinema, culminating in his graduation from LIU and the direction of his first professional short film.
Anwar made his directorial debut with his bachelor’s degree short film, "Over 18" (2021). The film received international acclaim, was screened at several global film festivals, and secured a distribution contract with WeShort International.
Since then, Anwar has significantly expanded his expertise into the digital landscape, establishing himself as a prominent content creator and strategist with a growing community of over 500,000 followers. Beyond filmmaking, he is a skilled scriptwriter, a professional video editor specializing in advanced cinematography and color grading, and a mentor who regularly runs creative workshops.
His widely ranging experiences give him a unique understanding of how to craft deeply personal stories and transform them into engaging visual performances. Anwar balances his creative passion with a grounded approach to reality, continuously developing his distinct cinematic style across both traditional filmmaking and modern digital media.
